Jameston – 11 New Affordable Homes for Ateb
Sterling Construction are proud to have successfully delivered 11 high-quality affordable homes in the picturesque village of Jameston, Tenby, for our valued client ateb Group.
This development provides a much-needed boost to the local housing register and supports the growing demand for affordable-to-let homes in Pembrokeshire.
The completed scheme includes a thoughtfully designed mix of properties:
4 one-bedroom flats
2 two-bedroom bungalows
4 two-bedroom houses
1 four-bedroom house
All homes were built to EPC A standards, incorporating non-fossil fuel heating, PV solar panels, and Air Source Heat Pumps. These sustainable features align with both ateb’s net zero commitment and Sterling’s drive to deliver environmentally responsible construction.
This project follows our earlier successful partnership with ateb Group at Manorbier Station Road, where 23 new homes were constructed. We are delighted to have continued this strong working relationship on another landmark scheme for the local community.
Community Impact
As part of our commitment to community benefits, Sterling created apprenticeship opportunities on site, helping to develop local talent in the construction industry. Apprentice Bricklayer Ryan Evans and Apprentice Site Manager Joshua Davies both gained valuable experience while working on this project, reflecting our dedication to supporting skills growth and future careers in the sector.
Local Insight
Senior Quantity Surveyor Dave Coleman and Site Manager Matt Reynolds, both local to the area, highlighted the pride in delivering new affordable homes for Pembrokeshire residents.
Matt shared: “It has been fantastic working with ateb again, a client whose values align with our own. Their emphasis on opportunities for apprenticeships and sustainable building reflects what we stand for at Sterling Construction.”
Sterling Construction are proud to have acted as Main Contractor on this completed development, delivering sustainable, energy-efficient homes that will serve the Jameston community for years to come.
